Avery Sunshine

Avery Sunshine combines R&B, soul gospel and jazz in the style that is his own. Sunshine has appeared on Broadway as well as at the Democratic National Convention and in the European clubs and festivals. Sunshine Her real name was Denise White. Though she's located in Atlanta but her origins are in Chester Pennsylvania. There she first began to develop the musical profession by performing and singing at church. The musical journey began for her in Atlanta in Spellman College. The Fighting Temptations The first single to feature her vocals was Stalk You A house 12 released only in Japan It has been remixed since by numerous producers and is a staple of her live sets. Also, she contributed to The Fighting Temptations soundtrack. She became the primary pianist for Tyler Perry's stage show Meet the Browns. Jennifer Holliday was the Grammy and Tony Award winner who approached her in 2007 about serving as the Choral Director for Dreamgirls the stage show of Atlanta's National Black Arts Festival. Sunshine received national attention for 4 performances a day during the Democratic National Convention in 2008. Sunshine was invited to sing as part of President Barack Obama's inauguration ceremony in 2009.
